The Emergency Center at Kyungpook National University Chilgok Hospital aims to provide the best possible treatment for our patient as quickly as possible, followed by a highly organized system.
When you arrive at the Emergency Center, you will first be escorted to the preliminary examination room for triage to determine the severity of your condition and whether you should be treated at the Emergency Center or not. If the test result indicates that immediate treatment is not needed, the doctor of the center may propose you make an appointment with an outpatient clinic or refer to another hospital for appropriate treatment.
We take a further step depending on the patient's condition. Carrying out first aid and various medical examinations, taking appropriate measures, and if needed, requesting relevant medical departments for a joint-examination are the parts of the next steps.
- At the Emergency Center, we do not serve on a first-come, first-served basis. The priority will be given to Emergent or Urgent patients according to the medical severity.
